My midwife was extremely complementary about my pushing and pelvic floor awareness - a credit to you and all your help and guidance over my pregnancy. I had to have a few more interventions than I planned for, but I was able to adapt and go with the flow. It was an amazing experience. You’re an Angel - thank you so much for sharing your knowledge.
Shelley's classes are intelligently sequenced. She helps me work with my body mindfully to engage the right bits at the right time. I always walk away feeling like I'm standing a bit taller, breathing a bit easier and feeling energised and calm! Thank you Shelley!
I came to Shelley after being referred from a physio. I was recovering from a severe shoulder injury, multiple other injuries, chronic pain and trying to figure out how to manage hypermobility syndrome. Sessions with Shelley have immensely helped me build strength, find my core, manage my hypermobility - and get me out of chronic pain. Her kindness, patience, expert knowledge and knowing how and when to push me have made all the difference.
This course is just what I needed and arguably what every new mum needs postpartum while trying to think about returning to normal movement with an altered body. Shelley's class provided the perfect mix of education and movement, at an appropriate pace for sleep deprived mummas but also with a real honesty and openness that you don't find everywhere else.
Thank you for the lessons and inspirations over the last 20 weeks of my pregnancy. You have given me not only tools for labour (& life after!) but a new perspective on moving the body and using the mind. I have truly enjoyed your classes and I know your wisdom and techniques will stay with me for a long time.
Can't say enough about the RYC™ course - or Shelley's careful guidance through it - which has led to subtle yet profound changes in my self-awareness and daily movement patterns. Shelley is totally engaging and a master at working with you to build functional strength wherever your body is at.”
You have an amazing ability to create a comfortable and safe environment in which people can move their bodies and share. You definitely talked my sort of language when discussing how the body moved and I discovered ways to move that support, rather than hinder.
